Bozo has died. for a brief moment the child inside of me breathed a sigh of relief, till I realized there are more than one Bozo. o horror. turns out Larry Harmon, who has passed away, was so popular bringing bozo to terrorize children everywhere and innovative to use the new tv medium, that television stations started hiring their own local bozos. Harmon developed that spine tingling laugh and the demonic hairdo. within three years, he had over 100 Bozos across the US and the world, including Germany, Japan and France. a little digging has revealed that my own personal nightmare, chicago's Bozo by Bob Bell, passed away in 1997, though the station continued to show old episodes far after. i should be relieved, but knowing that another one could leap out... shudder
